MEDWING International Recruiting was founded in 2019 by Petra Lütkewitte within the MEDWING Group — with a clear mission: the ethical and sustainable recruitment of international specialists for the German healthcare sector.

Today we are a team of over 20 employees from 11 countries, specializes in recruiting qualified nurses, OTA/ATA, MTR and trainees from seven carefully selected countries of origin. Our intercultural expertise and many years of experience give us a deep insight into the opportunities and challenges of international migration — and make us a strong partner for clinics and care facilities in 10 federal states.

With over 1,800 skilled workers recruited and more than 1,200 successful entries We are making an important contribution to relieving the burden on the healthcare system. More than 50 medical institutions already rely on our transparent, fair and efficient way of working. Since 2022, we have also been working with the RAL seal of approval “Fair Recruitment Care Germany” awarded and recertified by 2027.

On average, the salary of nursing professionals is 2,800€/month (gross). In addition to monthly income, employers offer many other supplements & employee benefits.

The (state-recognized) continuing education and training courses are supported by the employer in Germany.
Families & naturalization
Family reunification is possible. In addition, the partner also receives a work permit in Germany.

With more than six years of experience in management consulting (Monitor Deloitte, BCG) in the healthcare sector, Petra Lütkewitte brings deep expertise in strategy, personnel planning and complex multi-stakeholder processes. She has been managing international recruiting at MEDWING for seven years and has set up and optimized all process steps herself. Their expertise guarantees the professional, structured and reliable implementation of our projects.

Jessica Hanisch-Hernandez

Director of International Recruiting
Jessica Hanisch-Hernández has worked in the health and social sector for 14 years and has extensive experience in consulting, student work and international specialist projects (including at contec and IEGUS). At MEDWING, she has been managing the operational areas, including the Migration & Recognition team, for four years. Her deep industry experience and expertise ensures that we understand the needs of our clients and candidates and also shape the market with new project ideas, such as our Global Skills Partnerships.
